Cloth Magazine Relaunches
Immediate Media's fashion and craft magazine Cloth is relaunching in a new-look format following a six-month redesign process.
The magazine is relaunching with the new tagline 'Make it your own', targeting the growing market of fashion-conscious readers interested in vintage, customised and homemade clothing. According to Immediate Media, each issue of Cloth will include patterns and designs, fashion inspiration, step-by-step guides and style news.
Among the other changes that Immediate Media have made since acquiring the title in July 2012 are the addition of new sections, expanded content and the move from quarterly frequency to publishing 13 issues a year. The revamped magazine is priced at £4.99.
Editor Cathy McKinnon, said: "We’re very excited to bring Cloth to the market. With a dynamic new look and a strong focus on fashion trends, interesting features and lovely projects, we believe it’s like nothing else on the newsstand right now. We’ve loved putting together the new look and we’ve already received a fantastic response from the sewing industry and crafting community."
First launched in 1978, Starburst is the world’s longest running sci-fi, horror and fantasy magazine, but the title had suspended print publication in 2009.
