CMA Appoints New Managing Director
Clare Hill joins the Content Marketing Association (CMA) from ITV to take the role of managing director within the organisation.
Hill's most recent role was as director of UK for ITV's home entertainment porfolio, responsible for managing sales and marketing, following her move to the broadcaster in 2007 as commercial director. She has more than 12 years' experience across media, marketing and management, including positions with Universal Pictures and Anchor Bay Entertainment.
In her new role with the CMA, which rebranded last year to more accurately reflect the work it does, Hill will be responsible for championing content marketing and attracting more members to the association in order to drive it forward.
Commenting on her appointment, Hill said: "As the leading content marketing association in the world, the CMA represents an industry at the forefront of consumer engagement. I am very much looking forward to working with the team and our member agencies to carry on promoting the growing value of this exciting industry."
Claire Broadbent, chairperson of the CMA, said: "This is an incredibly exciting time for both the association and the content marketing industry which has been transformed in recent years through the emergence of new technologies and innovation. Clare’s experience will help drive the association forward and we look forward to welcoming her to the CMA team."
