Starburst

First launched in 1978, Starburst is the world’s longest running sci-fi, horror and fantasy magazine, but the title had suspended print publication in 2009. When Starburst was ready to return to the newsstand in early 2012, the publisher approached us to orchestrate a successful relaunch.

Following an initial distribution to independent retailers, we have now secured a thriving presence for the title in WH Smith High Street, where sales are consistently improving issue on issue. We have also been successful in exporting Starburst to a number of overseas territories, delivering the magazine to sci-fi, horror and fantasy fans around the world.

The Franchise Magazine
When we took responsibility for The Franchise Magazine's newsstand distribution, there were two key objectives. The  first of these was to regain an international presence for the magazine. Thanks to the work of our export team, the magazine is now listed in six overseas markets, including the USA, Australia and Canada.

Secondly, when we took over the publisher had recently experienced a decline in UK sales and their circulation strategy urgently needed to be reviewed. Since our team have optimised the magazine's circulation, it has gained a greater presence and secured permanent listings in numerous leading magazine retailers.
