ABC breakdown: pre-school titles

How do different titles aimed at pre-school children perform?

The latest ABC results for CBeebies Magazine stand at 69, 466.

The title is published by Immediate Media in London, at a cover price of £3.25.

Although the title has no dedicated website, the title has a regularly maintained Twitter feed with 8, 500 followers and a Facebook page with over 18, 000 likes.

The title is marketed as an educational children's magazine.

Disney and Me magazine has a lower ABC figure, at 26, 180 and a higher cover price than Cbeebies Magazine, at £3.99.

Although this title also has no dedicated website, there is a substantial general Disney presence online.

Doc McStuffins magazine, with an ABC of 25, 491 has a markedly lower cover price than the previous two titles, at £2.99 per issue.

The title is published by Panini, and also has no dedicated website and no social media presence for the brand.

Peppa Pig magazine, with a hefty £4.99 cover price, has a staggering ABC figure of 70, 653.

The title is published by Redan, and Peppa has a dedicated website - not surprising, considering the vast following she and her friends have.

Peppa Pig magazine's dedicated Facebook page has 2.8M likes, and 30, 000 followers, which is a considerably larger online presence than other children's magazines.

Thomas Express, a Thomas the Tank Engine magazine, has a recorded ABC figure of 25, 273 and a standard cover price of £3.99.

The title is published by Egmont, and has it's very own dedicated website and Twitter feed with nearly 12, 000 followers.

The dedicated Facebook page has 1.25M likes, almost on par with Peppa Pig.

Something Special Magazine is published by Immediate Media, and has the relatively low cover price of £2.99.

The latest ABC figures reveal a circulation of 43, 309.

The Twitter feed for this title, which is labelled as "intended for grown-ups", has 6, 600 followers, while the Facebook page has a disappointed 6, 000 likes.

The magazine also has it's own dedicated website, and a QR code to watch a video of Mr Tumble singing.
