A news app using content from other publishers has been launched by Buzzfeed.
The new app, which has been launched by Buzzfeed in the UK, will take news content from other publishers including the BBC and the Guardian.
The app will be staff by a London-based team of reporters.
The Buzzfeed News app will use push notifications to alert users to breaking news stories, in much the same way that the BBC News app does.
Three London-based journalists will produce content for the app, including written and video content.
Head of news curation at Buzzfeed, Brianne O'Brien, said: What we are looking at is to provide the news of the day in a digestible way.
If we do not have somebody covering it, we are not afraid to highlight it on the app.
