The Phoenix will be the first independent comic to reach its 200th issue in over 40 years.

Coverage has included an appearance on Newsround, pieces in 3 leading mail titles and 3 radio interviews. They have also set up their own #HappyPhoenix200 hashtag, bringing in tweets from cartoonists and illustrators, and adoring fans including children and parents!

The Phoenix is currently stocked in Waitrose and independent book stores. However the new issue will debut in WHSmith High Street nationwide, beginning with a promoted launch.
